Where are you based and do you travel?

I am based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and travel upon consultation.

Where do you shoot your sessions?

I shoot sessions outdoors, in parks, public buildings, homes, and studios.

How can I book my session?

Sessions can be booked by contacting Wishbone Photography via email, website, or social media with a session type/ date request and a non-refundable retainer paid via Paypal, Venmo and Cashapp.

When is my balance due?

The session balance is due no later than 48 business hours prior to the session.

How can I pay?

Once your session date, time and payment platform are confirmed, I will send you an invoice. You will receive a receipt once the invoice has been paid. Please note your session is not reserved until payment is received and confirmed.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept payment through Paypal, Venmo, and Cashapp payment platforms. Service fees may apply.

Is my retainer refundable?

Retainers paid to secure your session time and date are NON-REFUNDABLE but can be applied to ONE rescheduled session date. Any additional rescheduling will require a new retainer. A $150 retainer is due for all sessions over $200. All sessions under $200 and mini sessions are paid in full at the time of booking. The session fee is non-refundable but can be used for ONE rescheduled date or transferred to another client with the photographer's approval.

Do you offer payment plans?

Payment plans are available for any session over $500. Once the non-refundable retainer is paid, you may set up a flexible schedule to pay the remaining balance, with the balance paid in full 48 business hours prior to the session date. If you are in need of a payment plan, keep that in mind when selecting your session date. The payment of your retainer will serve as a contractual acknowledgment and agreement that you agree to pay the remaining balance of the session 48 business hours prior to the session date.

When will I get my photos?

You will receive your proof gallery link within 10 - 20 business days (sometimes less depending on the season). Your download gallery link will be sent within 5 business days of confirming your selections from your proof gallery. You can download all the photos from the gallery, share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!

Do you have a late policy?

I understand that things come up and cause us to run behind from time to time so I do implement a 10-minute grace period. I ask that you notify me as soon as possible if you anticipate running later than 10 minutes behind. I do not charge a late fee, but please acknowledge that the session time will still end as scheduled. This can be especially detrimental to mini-sessions and headshot sessions as they are shorter.

Is there a Cancellation Policy?

As a solo small business owner, I have limited availability throughout the year to book sessions, once your session has been paid for and booked that time has been reserved for you. All retainers and balances paid to secure your session date and time are NON-REFUNDABLE. As life happens and things do come up, retainers/balances paid can be applied to ONE rescheduled date. Any additional rescheduling will require a new session payment.

How many images come in a gallery purchase?

Gallery purchases contain 20-25 images.

Do you offer prints, albums and other photo products?

Yes! I work with professional printing labs to bring you the best quality products. You can view offerings and order when you receive your digital download gallery. If there are products unlisted that you are interested in, please reach out as there are vast products and customizations that can be made. Prints, albums, canvas, framed, and photo tiles are just a few of the products available for purchase.

Can I gift a session?

Yes! You can gift a full session or a gift card that can be used towards a session or printing service.

Can my dog join us?

I have an energetic fur baby of my own, so yes they are always welcome. Please note that I will do my best to work with your sweet fur baby but it is your responsibility to clean up after them, bring treats if necessary, and generally control them during the session.

Do you charge for additional retouching?

I always encourage clients to view my work and style to make sure we are a great fit. I do second edits upon request on selected imaged from the proof gallery. Any additional edits are charged $10 per image.

Who owns the images?

I, the photographer have legal ownership and Copywrite over the images. My sessions include printing and social sharing permissions for personal use only unless otherwise documented in writing. The images are not to be edited, filtered, sold, or published for profit without written permission from the photographer.

Print/Digital Image License Agreement

Photo Downloads may be included as part of the initial session or purchased from Wishbone Photography online store. Wishbone Photography grants buyer a non-exclusive, non-transferable perpetual personal-use license to download, print and copy the accompanying image(s) subject to the following restrictions: This license is for personal use only. Personal use means non-commercial use of the Media. Title and ownership, and all rights now and in the future, of and for the Media remain exclusively with Wishbone photography. There are no warranties, express or implied. The Media are provided 'as is.'

Wishbone Photography will not be liable for any third-party claims or incidental, consequential or other damages arising out of this license or the buyer's use of the Media.

Display on personal websites and computers.

Making image prints for personal use only.

What you may not do:
Buyer may not:
Use the media in any way whatsoever in which you charge money, collect fees, or receive any form of remuneration or use.

The Media in paid, mass-produced advertising without written permission from Wishbone Photography.


Use The Media in a pornographic, obscene, illegal, immoral, libelous or defamatory manner.
Incorporate The Media into trademarks, logos, or service marks.

Wishbone Photography retains all rights, licenses, copyright, title, and ownership of the Media.

Do you offer reshoots?

As a mama of both a boy and fur baby, I know we can't always control our children and pets. They may be having a bad day and I will do my best to work within their boundaries. However, that does not constitute a reshoot automatically. Reshoots may be offered at the photographer's discretion. Request can always be made for one, please note if accepted the reshoots may not have the same set/props if they are no longer available and could incrue additional rental fees.

Who is responsible for set/studio damage?

Damages to set, props, studio and equipment caused by the client/ client's guest will be assessed/ quoted by a professional and charged to the client that booked the session. Client agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Photographer and its affiliates, employees, agents and independent contractors for any injury, property damage, liability, claim or other cause of action arising out of or related to the services and or work product Photographer provides to Client. For the reasons above, the photographer will never pressure clients to attempt posing, shoot in dangerous locations or in any way knowingly endanger the client. In return, the photographer requests the client take proper care of themselves and their guest during sessions.
